As for me, I enjoy being offensive.

Feel the lurve.

Apparently I come off as a showy, but 'invested' prick.

Sorry, that was funny and the catalyst of a few drunk posts landed me (and those guilty of associating with me) in WS solitary confinement.

I think what your guilty of, is trying to hard at times when no one is taking any of what's being said very seriously.

And who the fuck drags out this flaccid excuse for communication here?

I think I just come across the wrong way then, as I really am not trying at all. I'm just engaging in a conversation.

Nor do I take anything said toward me on an online forum seriously. Hence the reason it is impossible for me to make 'self-pitying' comments, as I was accused of doing by Pro. Making a true statement to support a position isn't the same thing as pitying oneself. I'd have to actually feel some form of sadness or persecution based on what has been said here to pity myself. I've always maintained that nothing said here bothers me, which is why I find it so funny that others seem to always jump to the opposite conclusion.

Yes, and I wish I hadn't. It is utterly undrinkable and smells like some solvent. I'm going to write a review, though, and try to be objective.

And Tibro, just because I hold a contrary position doesn't mean I'm getting defensive.

No, but that's not why we think you are often defensive.

It's the argumentatem ad nauseam that does it, and the fact that yanking your chain always produces the desired results, or at least the results desired by the chain-yankers (I usually don't have a burning desire to read more argumentatem ad nauseam, in which you usually dig yourself out of the face-level hole only to dig yourself into a meta-level hole).

We all have our little defined roles in this theater of tomfoolery. I'm fine with playing the part.

It's not my problem if people don't pay attention when I say that it's not personal, nor is it raising my blood pressure one bit. No one is yanking this crank. I respond when I feel like it. There are plenty of times when I don't.
