PayPal is a rip off.

Nobody should use it.

Cascade insists on it.

I guess I'm a nobody then. I don't mind paying for convenience sometimes.

QUOTE(mthuilli @ Mar 3 2008, 04:51 AM) *

I wanted to do a side by side comparison of the La Clandestine Originale vs La Clandestine Originale Alcool de Vin so I've ordered both from Absinthe Suisse.

Guzzle with pride - the spirit of objective scientific inquiry is the foundation of a free society! abs-cheers.gif

(I started to write, "the unquenchable spirit…" but then realized how amazingly inappropriate it was in this case.)

Good luck, mthuilli. I ordered the three-pack of 0,2 liter bottles in (gift) box about a year ago. Everything went fine then except that the plastic lid on the box was broken.

Order received 51 hours after I placed it.
I know, France is close, but still, our french post is not so quick.
I now have to taste the Clandestines (with/without wine alcohol), and the La Valote Martin.
The Clandestine with wine alcohol is dated June 13th 2006.

Must be a big seller. I ordered three bottles from them in November 2006 - one of them was younger than that, and the other two just a month older.

The good news is that the Artemesia absinthes benefit significantly from a bit of aging.

Well, the Fruko-Schulz Czechsinth my Bulgarian friend keeps trying to foist on me still tastes as wretched as as it did on day 1.

But what I meant was, the Artemisias seem to benefit more from age than some blanches I've had. An entirely personal impression.

You're talking about the Artemisia Candestine with or without wine alcohol base?

Fruko-Schulz
I would not describe that as absinthe of any variety.
