Staying on topic, we are having a cup of Darjeeling FTGO FOPI and it is quite nice if unusual, but mainly I am interested what is its price. Any tea-freak knows? I cannot find it here. Our looks so:

It is just harmless Latin, my friend.

FTGO- Finest Tippy Golden Orange Pekoe-hand processed and produced at only the best plantations. Grade of Darjeeling tea, one of the highest, btw. What FOPI stands for I have not found yet. (edited)Finally, I have: FOP1 - Flowery Orange Pekoe First Grade Leaves. Now, I would like to know the price, if anyone could help.

Damn straight, sock puppet.

On the other hand, I'm savoring the pucker-up bitterness of a Moylan's Hopsickle.

I think FOP1 stands for first flush, not first grade. First flush means the first leaves processed from the spring harvest that season, kind of like how some people get excited over a Beaujolais Nouveau. There is a subtle difference between spring and summer harvests, but I wouldn't say one is better than the other. The region and altitude have a lot more to do with the flavor than whether it's first flush or not. FOP1 is usually about $4 per oz whereas regular FOP is more like $3.

And yes, I'm a pussy. I love tea.

But I love coffee too. Steyr850 sent me some phenomenal home roasted coffee, including some high end Panamanian stuff that blew me away, but I just can't drink as much of it as I do tea because of stomach problems and I get spazzed out if I drink coffee for days in a row.
