In your pm to me you explicitly said you wouldn't share information

You must have misread my post:

I've reached out privately to offer insight to those who I thought might genuinely be interested in the issue.

I don't think you are. Instead of focusing on the issue, you're focusing on me and my credibility.

I've given my number to several other people and explained a few more things. But I'm not going to be very forthcoming with someone who sends me PMs out of the blue just to tell me that they think I'm a shitbag.

This discussion could be a bunch on mom and pop grocers talking about how WalMart, PriceChopper and A&P make life hard for them. Well there aren't any mom and pop grocery stores anymore, and for years there weren't any small distilleries, so the system isn't really tailored to supporting that segment of the business.

On target I think.

I would hazard a guess and say that most if not all distilleries & grocers started out very small and had the same complaints about whomever was perceived to be the big player. Some thrived and grew, some went out of business and others bitched about how unfair life is to anyone that would listen & grew stagnant.

Hey dakini,

With no hiccups in your production… how many cases do you think you're tending towards per annum?

Whoops, I missed this.

200 of the standard 9 liter cases.

For perspective, that's about 1/3 less than Black Maple Hill 18 yr old Rye. Or 5/8ths of a percent of the production for Beam Brand Ryes (Jim Beam and Old Overholt).
