Some while ago I ordered one bottle of Un Emile 68 at Liquers de France... now at Absinthvertrieb Lion they are also selling Un Emile 68... for about 40 Euro's less in price

LDF: 105 Euro incl. shipping to Netherlands
AV: 65 Euro incl. shipping to Netherlands.....

Am I missing something or ????

I don't know. This is the first I've heard of anyone except LdF being allowed to sell the Un Emile 68 absinthes.

Things change. According to the news section of Heure Verte's website, the distillerie des Fils d'Emile Pernot is now free to sell Emile 68 and Emile Blanche to liquor retailers in France and other parts of Europe. LdF still retains exclusive selling rights to Emile Sapin, however.

and Comptoir Frenchman @ 59.63 Euro with Paypal, less with cheque. And 41 Euro if you happen to pass by la Rochelle wink.gif.

Granted, he does charge more for shipping (three bottles will set you back 35 Euro for shipping, instead of 15 Euro at most German distributors), meaning he's only cheaper if you just order one bottle -- but then, my wife would kill me if she found *three* Un Emile bottles in the cupboard Tombstone2.gif -- at least my whisky bottles are all from different distilleries (well, I had to give away one of my The Balvenie bottles to a friend who doesn't live too far away, though, or that would've been false).
