Full Version: Updates to the Emerald Quest
The Fée Verte Absinthe Forum - The Oldest, Largest, Most Authoritative Absinthe Forum. > Absinthe & Absinthiana > Voyages au Pays des Fées

Hey folks, I finally got around to overhauling the Emerald Quest, a site started some years back as a means of collecting absinthe-related travel stories. Most of these are accounts by the forum's patrons: Peter, Oxygenee, Artemis, myself.

There is still some work to be done on the galleries and such. I've also had trouble post-dating several of the entries because I've simply forgotten when the events took place. But for the most part... enjoy:

NOTE: The new site is in blog format, so authors can record their own travels. If you'd like to make entry, contact me and I'll post it for you or create for you an author account.

Anyway, apologies if I'm tooting my own horn (again( but I think this is an enjoyable resource that can now grow 'naturally' and become quite valuable.

Unless she just added those,

pwn3d, ABS! harhar.gif pirate2.gif

Although, I must admit, I couldn't find them myself until she posted the link.

Yeah, everything's still a bit funky. My newly rebuilt index.php won't show up.

Try this:

Yeah, sneaky monkey. That was not there when I clicked.

Huzzah! The myth lives!

... and so on.

It's always been a beautiful site - she has a nice touch with colors and graphics. You slobs should go over there and make a post or two; you DO go the Lounge, don't you?

Mea culpa...

Lately, mea maxima culpa. unsure.gif

Looks absolutely excellent. I can't wait until I have the time to give it a more thorough look.

Well done! abs-cheers.gif

There's just something very wrong about the fact that at the time, the "sausage" picture is the second most viewed jpeg in the gallery. wacko.gif

Teehee. Yes, but it FEELS so right.

Incidentally, that croc sausage was the cause of many bad puns from the minute I had the nice people at the French Market bag it in ice for me. I.E. "Well, I'm gonna head back to my hotel room and re-ice my sausage, hahaha". I smuggled the damn thing across the Texas border in a large styrofoam cup full of ice, only to try it, hate it for tasting mostly like a greasy, spicy pork link, then throwing most of it away. Ah, c'est la vie.
