Intersting quiz to take.

http://www.beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html

After my 77 year old father in law took it, he emailed me asking what a neo pagan was, cuz apparently it was at the top of his list.

I wasn't surprised. When cleaning out his attic, he gave me all of his old Dowsing Association newsletters. What a little gnome he is.
sevenscarabs
Orthdox Quaker, what the fuck?

That followed by Baha'i, Liberal Protestants, Judaism, New Age and Neo Paganism

That's kind of an odd list.

Oddly, though, according to this I have a better chance as an atheist than as a Mormon or Jehovas Witness.

1. Unitarian Universalism (100%)

They don't reproduce and, so, must rely entirely on recruitment.

That's the Shakers. There are plenty of Quakers around, but Shakers can only be found in graveyards now. They wanted to get out of this vale of tears as soon as they could, without (I think) actually killing themselves like some of the early Christian heretics did.

Not to be confused with the Shake-and-Bakers.

Edit: OK, you were probably joking.

First three are OK. After that ... um, no.

If there was a category called secular neo-pagan heretic judaism, I guess I would fit in there. Maybe I should found such a religion.

I did, or I wouldn't have shared my own. That doesn't nail down my own religious conviction, but it certainly suggests I'm bored.
Grim
I assume I know what you're getting at.

Looks like we should we should start a sect called Unitarian Universalist Absinthiests (or should that be Absintheists?).

Then we'll be able to legally import absinthe, legal under the First Amendment for religious puropses.
