Full Version: The Nepenthes Press: La Fée Verte - Poetry of Madness
The Fée Verte Absinthe Forum - The Oldest, Largest, Most Authoritative Absinthe Forum. > Absinthe & Absinthiana > The Absinthe Library
We all know Kirk's wonderful silverwork, but there is another absinthe-inspired artist in our midst, working in an entirely different medium - the privately printed and hand-bound book:

The Nepenthes Press: La Fée Verte - Poetry of Madness

As with Kirk's grilles, the photos don't do Mike's book justice. It's a little jewel of craftmanship.
So apparently absinthe consumption = madness?
Oh haven't you heard? Prices on absinthe are mad!
Prix de la Fée Verte -- Poetry of Madness?
Oh I don't know. I do know that I love the looks of the book though!
If you read the poems, I think you will find the title appropriate.
Agreed, Hartsmar, the book sure looks purty.
I was able to page through one recently and they are very nicely done indeed.
That's my kind of aesthetic madness.

Very elegant, Nepenthes. abs-cheers.gif

Pictures really just do not capture the magical, irridescent quality of the book's cover fabric. This book makes you thirsty right away...
