For those who don't get the VAM newsletter, this is a quick note to say the newest member of the Oxy family is now up and running: www.absintheposters.com

This is a partnership between myself and a specialist printer, and the aim is to offer fine-art prints of the most interesting and remarkable absinthe images. The high res giclee printing process used here is far superior to conventional ink jet printing, and the overall product is signifcantly better than anything CafePress or Art.com can produce. Prints on canvas are also available.

I should add that any suggestions for improving the functionality of the site, or details of images you'd like to see available but which aren't already there, would be much appreciated.

The Absinthe Monnot label is one of the most interesting things I've seen. I'd love to know more about their history. Unless it's a secret.
Marc
They would make nice posters :

The first legend says "microcephalic idiotic, son of an absinthic"
The second one says "paralysis and contracture of all four limbs in an heredo-absinthic imbecilic"

Why no absinthe calender?

The new site is specifically set up to provide fine art prints, in a variety of sizes, and on a variety of materials. But a calender is a good idea, and I'll be adding some within the next day or two on my CafePress site, which aside of course from posters, also sells notebooks, cards, t-shirts, sweats, totes etc.

Speaking of which, I’m still looking for a teeshirt with Picasso’s Table in a Cafe (Bottle of Pernod). How about it, hmm?
