COLOR BEFORE WATER 3/10
Transparent yellow. This sample is over a year old and it has been kept in a clear bottle, so it may have turned a little brown, but it was yellow to begin with.

LOUCHE ACTION 4/10
Starts nicely but progresses in a sort of slow-motion, not good.

COLOR AFTER WATER 3/10
Being opaque is the only plus because it is brownish yellow when louched.

AROMA 9/30
Minty candy-like aroma both before and after water.

MOUTH-FEEL 3/10
Sticky, burning; would need more water than the 3:1 review ratio to enjoy even a bit.

TASTE 9/20
Sweet (from contained sugar). Star anise and mint are prominent. Somewhat bitter, too.

OVERALL IMPRESSION 4/10
Alcohol, sugar, mint, star anise and macerated wormwood.
