COLOR BEFORE WATER 10/10
Gorgeous deep green and clear. No sediment or haze, but deeper emerald than any I've seen so far.

LOUCHE ACTION 6/10
With no sugar and a slow fountain drip: oily tendrils begin soon and evolve into a much stronger louche than I managed with a brouilleur. Not a lot of louche "activity," i.e., not a lot of clouds or roiling, just turns generally opaque.

COLOR AFTER WATER 7/10
Deepest green milk I've seen, like olive oil in the refrigerator. Could be a little thicker and paler, but it is certainly unique.

AROMA 20/30
Before water: anise, wormwood, very little alcohol bite for a 72. Lots of sharp and varied herbal scents. No funk.

After water: Lots and lots of wormwood in front. Lots of aroma moving out and away from the glass. A darker, funkier tone has come to the fore, a little like old plastic, which is disconcerting.

MOUTH-FEEL 4/10
Fairly watery and dry. Not round, but sharp and a little oily. Not pleasant.

TASTE 3/20
Harsh. I watered mine further just to try to get away from the sharpness of the alcohol, but the overwhelming flavor is like the smell of burnt plastic. I'm gonna let this sit in my cabinet and will return to it next year. Bleahhhhh!

OVERALL IMPRESSION 1/10
The aroma and look of the product were very promising, but taste is where it's at, and at this point in its life, CCC tastes awful. het.gif
