Full Version: Question about pre-ban absinthe

I was wondering who has pre-ban absinthe preferably with the label on that I can buy? If you do how many bottles do you have, how much are they each and how long does a supply of it last before its all gone. And when is all the pre-ban absinthe going to not exist anymore?
traineraz
If you look at the navigation bar at the top of the page, and highlight Absinthe Webshop, then click on Vintage Absinthe for Sale, you might find a partial answer to your question.

The final part? It will no longer exist when people have consumed all of it.
Marc
And go introduce yourself in the dedicated section.

There's a few left on the carpet of a hotel in Pontarlier…

What if he has
photocopies of
pre ban available?
Head_prosthesis
Lord love a Xerox.
But there's something
nice about a hardcopy.
I can hold it in my hand,
take it out to the porch,
snuggle up it with in bed.
Plug it in and all the worries
of the day just melt away.

They're damned fine, too, I sampled one months ago!

Oops, guess I'm banned for aiding and abetting. LARS!.gif
Head_prosthesis
We're forming a banned.

Since kevangogh already popped the commercial cherry here, I should mention that I currently have very well preserved pre-ban Pernod Fils available in 30 and 50ml samples, and also in a sealed bottle.

Of course, Hiram is probably giving this stuff away for free at the Wormwood Society.

Thanks, Dreams of being the Pol Pot of Absinthe was taken.

Oxy, even though I downloaded Hiram's soft copies of the manuals, I still signed up to buy a hardcopy. I'm sure there are quite a few others who've done (or will do) the same.

Thank you Shabba, I appreciate that. In light of the recent events, I'm going to reconfigure the book slightly, adding some extra sections from other editions not available elsewhere. More details to follow in the next week or two.

Woo hoo! abs-cheers.gif

Looking forward to it!
OMG_Bill
I'm on that list as well. Looking forward to it. Thanks Oxy.

Cheers!

I'm going to take stab and say most people who want an actual book version aren't doing so just for the pure information contained within. There are plenty old stories that I can find and read online, which is great for research (the laziness of the search function will eventually destroy humanity) but I still own hard copies.

Indeed. How many times didn't I try to hit 'ctrl-f' while reading a hard copy…
