Actually, the bulbs they have on IKEA, at least in Sweden, are very good.

I usually change a lamp bulb by unscrewing it from its socket and then removing the light lamp. I then put a new bulb light into place and it's all good. I can then switch on my newly replaced laght bimp and that's pretty much it.

The action to remove a light bulb with a bayonet cap fitting is slightly different to a simple unscrewing motion. It is more a case of pushing in, rotating, and then gently lowering.

Ikea use Edison Screw fittings though, in sizes you will never find again.
