The egg glass and the second Tarragona set are sold already.
To the same absintheur, lucky him!

I think you just like holding things.

Buy. Tactile sensation. Stare. Maybe use. Sigh… Sell.

Not a bad thing to do.

I'd no idea you were so generous, Socky.

PM me for my address, I accept your early gift! wub.gif
Marc
Contrary to what one could think, some of the antiques here are cheap.
traineraz
Yeah, but I don't think Mrs. Absomphe is willing to sell him.
Marc
yes.gif

Cheap.
traineraz
Er, I don't think I can afford that one.
Absomphe
I may be extremely inexpensive, but I ain't cheap, Socky.

Wow, that was almost a martial arts flick finish! LARS!.gif
Marc
Here is a beautiful Pontarlier glass I've found yesterday on an antiques market.
Really superb, no flaw.
Antique Pontarlier glasses are getting harder and harder to find, specially the oldest heavy ones like this one. Don't miss it!

Also, that Tarragona set (my very last one) is now offered at a reduced price because of the poor $/€ exchange rate.

A very nice example of Chope Yvonne. Tall (18.7cm/7.36 inch) and thick.

Selmac
I have an egg glass with the same pattern etched into it. Do you know anything about the history of that glass?
G&C
I want the Egg Glass.
Marc
No Selmac, don't know much more about them, I've seen both the 'spiral' and 'greek' patterns on a number of glasses (Eggs, Yvonnes and Cordons).
Looks like the Croismare glassware was specialized in such nice patterns : Virtual Museum

I'll find you one G&C, I know you love those egg glasses with patterns abs-cheers.gif
G&C
You are the sock!
