Some of these I started early 2006. Working on them again. In posting the pictures, the actual paintings have greater depth of color. I'm not an expert with the new camera. I may have to make changes in them. btw, they are essentially watercolor with some additions of gouache, watercolor crayon, charcoal. One I think has some pastel on it too.

Quite a shift from what you have been doing awhile ago. Still, subtle, nice simultaneous contrasts and interesting motives, not the typical abstractionism but rather more of pre-abstractionism with little poetry.

And…post more of them!

I'm crying: LARS!.gif and chickawow.gif

Gertz
I like those. You really make those yellow and greenish hues sing.
Jaded Prole

More to come. I have 3 more I could take pictures of, with a couple more in the works. Earlier, I forgot to give the dimensions. The first three were 14.5 x 10 inches, 16.5 x 10 inches, and 11 x 19 inches. The next three are a little smaller.

I know. I've been real busy. Tomorrow my to do list is only one third what it was today. I'll take photos. I know I said that before I didn't, but I'll make it up.

Isn't the bottle of Berger in the middle, neck covering the left of the letter A?

Yes, I think you're quite right. Note to self: new glasses.

But your style of painting might change!

I love your stuff, especially your choice of color. Please keep posting it.

I've attached an image of the dakini who stares back at me as I type. It's Yeshe Tsogyel, consort of Padmasambhava. Excuse the tacky sticker at the bottom---this was the photo that was sent to me of her before I bought the thangka years ago.

I'll let you guess which color in it resonates with me the best.
