FenomApparently distilled in France.

And at 40% with absolutely no louche. Intentionally.
My expectations are not high.

Yep, saw that.
Another cocktail thingy, like Pandor.

Vodkasinthe? Neither vodka nor absinthe. How nice and a propos for the market's demands.

Nor are mine, if they can't even spell 'Phenom".

Hey guess what guys? I just invented MODERN SASHIMI!!!
Why eat fish uncooked like a medieval savage?
Now there's VENOM MODERN SASHIMI! With the breaded fish fillet patty, seasame sead bun, cheese, and special sauce, Venom Modern Sashimi challenges traditional sushi ideals, opening the category to an entirely new generation of discerning dipshits!

Ha! At least the filet-o-fish is priced what it's worth, which is more than what Fenom is probably worth.

Filet-O-Fish™? Who said anything about that? We all know those are cheap, but what we have here is MODERN SASHIMI, a premium product, for which our discerning customers will pay a premium price.

Pandor, another cocktail thingy.
Is the distillery indicated on the TTB website? (can't remember the link).

Didn't we already reject this idea when someone was calling it La Fée NV?

As already discussed with Marc
https://www.ttbonline.gov/colasonline/viewC…=09243001000229No mention of the distillery. Contacted fenom via Twitter to ask for the information.
Anyway, it's crap to me. Trying to redefine once again what is absinthe, and trying to make a binge drinking/bowel cleaning liquor (at least it does not tout at 128pf like Pandor), arguing that "drinking it as a shot is better than having a complicated old-fashion preparation ritual" is businessman crap.
BTW, the promoters are not absinthe lovers, they're an attorney at law and a former french business school student.
Go figure

The NV site claims that it creates the famous "louche."

It would be really nice if the TTB had a definition of what is and is not absinthe.

When asking for additional regulation, be careful what you ask for.
