For Donnie and Arty since they talked about them in some other thread
enjoy:
Dave and Primal Scream

Wow. 1994. I didn't even know he played harmonica. I guess you can do anything on heroin.

I like Depeche Mode, but I never knew any of the names of the people in the band. Thanks for the cut.

I had a hell of a discovery last week. I wanted to refresh my memory of the chords in "Hyacinth House" by the Doors and went to Youtube, and found this:

WTF? A Swedish country band? And with nuances of Bob Dylan, 16 Horsepower, and Grant Lee Buffalo, they blow away any U.S. country act of which I'm aware, in my opinion. It took a little bit of work to find out more about them, but the cut in the above clip is "Two White Men in a Black Car and a Ticket Out of Here (Take 86)." It's from an album called Black Crows Country, which can be sampled cut by cut here:

Check out the title cut, and the last cut. This band kicks ass.

Peter Murphy is a Swedish country band? Or is that the wrong link? If that isn't the intended link, it's a good thing anyway as it made me realize that Peter Murphy looks like a younger Grand Moff Tarkin from Star Wars.

Sorry, every now and then the posting feature locks up on me and loses my whole post and/or forces me to go to MS Word to write it up then copy and paste it here - in this case I was dealing with two posts at the same time - this one and the one about Peter Murphy and Trent Reznor. The Peter Murphy clip was in response to the Murphy/Reznor thread and was mistakenly included here. The clip of the Swedish band is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kceZvSCq7BY...feature=related
