GaDistCo
The Georgia Distilling Company, based outside of Atlanta, GA, is currently working on producing a quality absinthe product for the American market. As you may know, absinthe was illegal in America for a while, and has a mystique about it in America in no small part to that. To keep up with our progress, or to give us your thoughts, please feel free to visit their site at www.GaDistilling.com

Welcome to the forum Bill.
Please tell us more about your Absinthe.

More choice is a good thing. Good choices are even better, but not always so easy. You have a tailor-made audience here eager to learn more about you and your project.

Why absinthe? Do you have a long-standing interest in absinthe or other anise spirits? Are you intrigued by challenges of distilling quality absinthe? Do you see absinthe as a trendy marketing gimmick?

Absinthe wasn't mentioned in the prospectus. How much do you anticipate producing and when? Have you ordered the vendome still yet?

If I read the prospectus correctly there are 11000 total shares of which you are selling 2200 at a price of $250.00 per share (and another 2800 shares held in reserve to sell at a future date). The two founding members currently have a total of 5610 in their names. So for 1.25 million someone could own 45.5% of this startup distillery. I wish you luck.

I'm sure the crown of "administrator of the best absinthe forum on earth" weighs heavy upon his head.

But seriously, welcome Bill. We are friendly to any new distiller who is looking to make quality spirits first, and a buck off of us second. If it's the other way around then yes, we bite.
