It is today exactly 100 years since August Strindberg passed away. To honor this, I have waited to publish the updated piece on August Strindberg as an absinthe drinker until today. This is only but a fraction of everything I have collected and researched but it gives a glimpse into his life with the green muse.

So, have a glass and drink to his memory.

Ha! "(Absinthe) extinguishes the light of reason"… I love it. We belong in the dark; mystified and miffed that we would rather sip and sup than be made one more second invested in the world.
