COLOR BEFORE WATER 7/10
lighter than the limitee verte this one looks like white wine with only the slightist hint of green
I found with the last one that when it's under sunlight it looks much deeper
and right now I am under fake lighting
I can't really say anything bad about the color it looks clean and natural
LOUCHE ACTION 10/10
just about the same as the limitee with these great oil trials that swirl up with little tinted blue bits on the edges
COLOR AFTER WATER 7/10
a very nice white with a tiny bit of green
before water: many smells can't seem to pick them out. the only one I can pick out right in the middle is nice purfumy wormwood like that of the 80 Brut but not as up front as the brut
it smells very clean and dry where as the limitee was was very tangy and well not wet but not at all what you would call dry
after water: wormwood and what I think to be fennel and a very small amount of something else that I can't put my finger on
nice and silky as expected from an Eichelberger although this one has a bit of heat to it more so than the others I have tried it's not bad really just a little heat
much sweeter and less complex than that 68 verte still very good.
all the flavors are together I don't even really want to try to pick them out they seem to be one. good.
OVERALL IMPRESSION 9/10
another quality product from Eichelberger
this one is a bit more relaxed than the 68 verte and the 80 brut
I like them all. almost to the point of not wanting to buy any non-Eichelberger absinthe, but I know there is so much out there that I have not tried and it would be a great waste not to try more.
