COLOR BEFORE WATER 10/10
It's perfectly clear.
LOUCHE ACTION 8/10
Heavy white thick louche.
COLOR AFTER WATER 10/10
Very nice white milky totally opaque.
AROMA 19/30
Mainly fennel and a touch of wormwood and of course anise. Nice and rich. A bit thin after adding water.
MOUTH-FEEL 7/10
Slightly numbing but quite full and smooth. Lacks a little something though.
TASTE 15/20
Nice but nothing extremely special. It's a decent La Bleue. Nothing particularly wrong either though.
OVERALL IMPRESSION 7/10
Ordinary La Bleue but well made and very drinkable.

Clouds quickly, nothing special.
COLOR AFTER WATER 8/10
Opaque, white.
AROMA 20/30
Predominantly anise.
MOUTHFEEL 7/10
Fairly nice but lacks the creaminess of the La Bleue Clandestine.
Taste 14/20
Anise and fennel sweetness followed by some mild lingering wormwood bitterness.
IMPRESSION 7/10
Average La Bleue. Like the other La Valote offerings, it needs a boost in the flavor department.

LOUCHE ACTION 9/10
Quick and tremendous
COLOR AFTER WATER 9/10
Titanium white
AROMA 23/30
Star anise and fruit. Clean base.
MOUTH-FEEL 7/10
Spicy and rounded.
TASTE 18/20
Typical, fennel is the predominant note, then anise, herbs, licorice and mint in the very back. Not weird. Wormwood is very crisp and shines through.
OVERALL IMPRESSION 8/10
Watching and reading about Willy Bovet I had an impression he is an Artist and that artistry shines in his booze. Me likes.
